Your life is like a road map
Envision your life as a road map. It is YOUR map,
each road each path has many observations off to the side. Trees, homes,
ditches, water in one manner or another. (Streams, lakes, oceans, rivers)
Now, look at YOUR map from above. Some paths were
dead ends, some you started and turned around going back to where you began.
Those were either difficult or you weren’t ready to take that road. Maybe in
time, you will. Some as you see them were forks in the road. Which way did you
go? What choice you made was it a choice of the heart or the mind. A choice of
others saying go this way or don’t. You remember those roads. We all do.
Keep looking from above ---
Why would you do this? Look from above YOUR map. To
see you have lived, you have lived a life that allowed you many paths, many
choices, many experiences. Each one was your decision.
What have you learned by looking at it? Not all were
as others. Some gave you great joy, joy beyond you ever thought possible. Some
gave you great sadness. Lets put a mark on those so we can say: I don’t like
that one I will avoid that one.
This is your life ---The ultimate path, the final
choice will bring you home. But you see all those paths all those choices will always
bring you home. Even the difficult ones. Now remember no matter how long or how
short, or how arduous it was you are on the road less traveled Why? Because it
is yours and yours alone. You are always
heading “Home”.
